I consulted with attorney Castro when I was trying to find an attorney to represent me for an employment harassment case. I had tried to find a bunch of attorneys before online and many of these law firms/attorneys brag about their abilities to get great settlement for clients, but I am going to tell anyone reading this, that most law firm/attorneys in my experience, which is vast, are looking for cases that you and I could defend even without a law degree (of course, I’m exaggerating), but these attorneys shy away from cases that require a little use of their intellect. Not one of the several attorneys/law firms had an attorney personally get the information from me. They always had assistants, some of whom were impersonal and did not seem thorough. Then an unnamed attorney at the law firm would review the information provided, never speak to me but would reject the case. A couple firms wanted me to pay a non-refundable fee just to discuss my case yet no guarantee they would take my case. Attorney Castro was pleasant, professional and thorough. He spoke to me by video so he could assess my credibility and I could see who the attorney who could consider representing me. He reviewed records that proved that there were many flaws in my former employer’s responses. He was convinced that I have a strong case, but due to the complexities in my case, his small law firm would not have been able to take the case on contingency. So, attorney Castro referred me to a larger law firm that quickly agreed to take my case on contingency. Other attorneys would usually just tell me to find another attorney.

In summary, I would highly recommend attorney Matias Castro. He is much different that most other attorneys and that’s a good thing. He is warm and patient, and provided me with his cellphone number if I had questions and also, unlike other attorneys, met with me face-to-face on video. Then found another law firm to represent me if he could not. Really good!
